	Holiday Pay Effective November 12, 2007, Hornady Transportation will provide five paid holidays to our drivers. The paid holidays are Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgivings Day, Christmas and New Years. The eligibility stipulations are very simple - employment for more than 180 days and be actively employed and available for dispatch when the checks are issued.

	Per Diem Tax Savings To help increase your take home wages and reduce your taxable earnings, we offer a Per Diem program. Recently we increased the daily Per Diem amount to $59.00. For some drivers, Per Diem provides additional take home earnings equivalent to an extra "four cent" for all miles run. A driver that is single and claiming just one deduction, earning $1,035.00 for the week, may see a tax savings of over $4,900.00 for the year or over $94.00 weekly.
